A crowdsourced map of surveillance camera's based on OSM

This project creates a publicly editable map, built on OpenStreetMap data, that aggregates the locations of surveillance cameras submitted by users. It serves privacy-conscious individuals, researchers, and activists by providing a transparent, crowdsourced tool to visualize and understand the density of public and private monitoring. The project is interesting because it transforms passive awareness of surveillance into an active, collaborative dataset, revealing the often-invisible infrastructure of urban observation.
