Ponytail is basically a glorified auto-complete for your ML experiments—it watches you train models, figures out which hyperparameters you’re too lazy to tune, and just sets them for you. It’s for the dev who’s sick of babysitting grid searches and wants to ship without writing yet another config file. The interesting part is it uses a tiny meta-model to predict the optimal settings, so you get the benefit of hyperparameter optimization without the overhead of actually running it.
