KaM Remake is a fan-driven, from-scratch remake of the classic medieval real-time strategy game *Knights and Merchants*, built in Delphi. It is designed for nostalgic players and RTS enthusiasts who want the original game's deep economic and tactical gameplay with modern stability, multiplayer support, and quality-of-life improvements. The project is interesting for its dedicated preservation of a niche title, its active modding community, and its technical achievement of faithfully recreating a complex game without using the original source code.
